I absolutely LOVE outdoor newborn and baby photography sessions. I started doing them about 1.5 years ago and fell in love! They are much more relaxing and can get much more natural bonding images, I feel ,compared to in studio. Due to the pandemic, this is now my most requested session. Out in fresh air and filled with family love and natural emotions, these really captured family bond while staying safe. I love being the first in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles to have offered these special photography sessions.

South Bay & Los Angeles Fresh 48 Photographer and Videographer

This was one of the most beautiful fresh 48 sessions. We did the fresh 48 session at the local Kaiser in the South Bay of Los Angeles. Did you know that besides documenting this special time in your life with photographs, that I also do short films as well. Here is a look in a recent fresh 48 video. It's so special to not only have these times documenting in stills, but to remember the sounds and movements as well is breathtaking to look back on.

Los Angeles & South Bay Maternity Photographer

I absolutely loved this maternity session we did in the Pasadena area of Los Angeles. We first started at my beautiful client's home with a natural maternity lifestyle session. Her home had the most beautiful light that really made this session dreamy. 

We then ended our maternity session at the beautiful Arlington Gardens in Pasadena. It's a small garden and requires a $100 permit to shoot there, but gosh it really is beautiful. I love that we got both a light and airy feel with the home lifestyle maternity session and then a more romantic moody feel with the outdoor session.

Torrance Birth & Fresh 48 Hospital Photographer - Torrance Memorial Newborn Photography Session

This family's friend contacted me to buy a gift certificate package to gift this family a hospital photo session. How sweet is that! Besides birth photography, hospital fresh 48 photo sessions are my favorite! There are so real and so organic and I don't think there's anything more special to look back at than to document the first couple days of your baby's life. I met this little guy when he was barely 24 hours old. I actually arrived at Torrance Memorial right when he had turned exactly 24 hours old, so it was really neat to document that. I love these cozy home lifestyle newborn sessions. I met this family at their beautiful home in Redondo Beach. They actually lived on the same street that my husband grew up on as a kid, such a small world! Their little guy was just a couple weeks old and what a sweet family area. I only do mini sessions twice a year and this is one of them! Spots are VERY limited as I'm only taking 10 sessions. I'm doing in-studio mommy and me for moms with toddlers and babies and then an early evening of beautiful outdoor sessions for the mommies with older little ones. I have a nice wardrobe collection at the studio with beautiful dress for mamas, and even cute little outfits for the toddlers and babies. Look at this sweetheart! Photographed her at her place of birth, just barely 2 days old and so darn cute! I absolutely love doing these "fresh 48" sessions. It's more of a documentary style newborn session done at the baby's place of birth, within 48 hours of them being born. It captures all the first little details of their young lives. So special to have and look back on. I was so lucky that this sweetie came to my studio just a week later for some posed newborn photos. Click HERE to see a glimpse into her studio session. 

I just love it when I catch a baby smile during these sweet "Fresh 48" sessions! At a couple of these types of sessions, I had actually caught the baby's first smile, which is so special to have documented.

For Valentine's Day, me and my favorite little one went exploring for flowers. It was quite the gloomy day, but it didn't stop us from having some fun, running through the tall grass and watching the sunset.

Torrance Newborn Photographer - Introducing Maxwell

Meet sweet baby Maxwell! We photographed him at 10 days old and he was such a dreamy baby.  His mother couldn't decide which she liked more, the super posed photos or the lifestyle session, so we did both! and I think they came out great!
